2025 FERTILIZER PRICES TO REMAIN ALMOST UNCHANGED COMPARED TO 2024

(BLOOMINGTON) As we approach spring, many of the key factors influencing fertilizer prices a year ago remain pretty much unchanged. Growers are once again aiming for high yields, but with grain markets declining relative to input costs, affordability concerns have become more prominent than last year. With an estimated 92 to 94 million acres of corn expected to be planted this spring, nitrogen demand is likely to be robust, while the usage of sulfur, phosplate, and value-added products may decline. Price-wise, unlike nitrogen & phosplates, potash has remained relatively affordable. Farmers are urged to stay in touch with their local supply partner with numerous factors making spring prices uncertain.
