(NEWTON) Grant applications for the Maxine E. Spitler Foundation are now being accepted through May 31st, 2024. The Foundation benefits youth and youth organizations, and is also for the protection and care of animals as well. The Foundation is limited in its awards only to those in Jasper and Lawrence Counties. To receive the most recently revised application forms, contact Rita M. Kocher, at Weber and Company, Inc., at 604 West Jourdan Street in Newton, or by mail at P.O. Box 305, Newton, 62448, or by phone at 618-783-3447. Completed forms may be dropped off at Weber and Company Office in Newton by May 31st or mailed to P.O. Box 305 in Newton postmarked by May 31st, 2024. Contact the office if any questions.
