(OLNEY/NEWTON) A large low pressure system will move today from the Upper Midwest down through Indiana into the eastern section of the Ohio River Valley, bringing with it some good chances of snow wrapping around in upstate Illinois, especially in areas north of a line along Interstate 70. However, our downstate region could see some light rain and/or flurries later this afternoon through tonight. The strong northwesterly wind has led the National Weather Service to issue a Wind Advisory for all of our listening area through late tonight. But after the system moves further southeastward, we start a slight warming trend tomorrow through the weekend with no rain chances again until the first of next week. Stay tuned for updates and always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio.
