(OLNEY/NEWTON) It’s another day of frigid weather conditions today, all to be followed by another cold night tonight, before a warming trend kicks in with warmer air arriving for the end of the work week. Our next chance of precipitation moves in with a cold front by Sunday with a mixture of rain or snow possible, all followed by dry conditions into next week. Stay tuned for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for forecast details.
(LINCOLN) The National Weather Service has extended its Cold Weather Advisory for most all of our downstate listening area from now through tomorrow night. With daily highs likely in the single digits, wind chill values will hover around zero during the daylight hours and below zero at night. Both frostbite and hypothermia are possible for those planning to be outdoors for an extended length of time. Precautions should be taken for those planning to travel, especially at night, and appropriate clothing should be used.
