(OLNEY) Girls High School Basketball Update – Last Night at the LIC Tournament
The Little Illini Conference Tournament continued at RCHS in Olney with exciting action in the consolation bracket semi-finals:
- Olney defeated Lawrenceville, 56-24. (Kelysse Weiler & Aliyah Flittner each scored 16 points)
- Marshall won against Casey-Westfield, 32-27.
Tonight, the winner’s bracket semi-finals will feature:
- Mt. Carmel vs. Robinson at 6:00 PM.
- Newton vs. Paris at 7:30 PM.
The final games of the tournament will take place Thursday and Friday nights at RCHS in Olney.
(DIETERICH) Girls High School Basketball Update – NTC Tournament First Round
The National Trail Conference Tournament kicked off at Beecher City High School with four exciting matchups:
- Dieterich beat South Central, 56-34.
- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg defeated North Clay, 54-33.
- Altamont won a close game over Neoga, 63-58.
- Brownstown/St. Elmo triumphed over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City, 66-52.
Tonight’s games:
- St. Anthony will play Dieterich at 6:00 PM.
- South Central faces Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 7:30 PM.
The tournament will continue through the rest of this week.
