The Noble Village Board held a brief regular meeting this past Monday evening, lasting less than half an hour. During the meeting, the Board:
- Approved the payment of all bills as presented.
- Passed an ordinance to implement both a Municipal Grocery Retailers’ Occupation Tax and a Municipal Grocery Service Occupation Tax for the Village.
- Accepted a $1,000 bid from Viking Industrial of Okawville, Illinois, to inspect the Noble water tower.
- Agreed to donate the Village-owned property, the former substation building at 106 East North Avenue, to the Noble Fire District.
The next regular meeting of the Noble Village Board will take place on February 10th.
