(SPRINGFIELD) The Illinois Wheat Association will have its Annual Wheat Plot Tour on Tuesday, May 20th. While four tour groups will set out that morning to visit various wheat fields and gather yield estimates in downstate Illinois, it all wraps up later in the day at the Southern Illinois University Belleville Research Center. While the local tour for Richland, Jasper, Clay, Effingham, & Fayette Counties will begin from Seimer Milling Company in Teutopolis, the tour for White, Hamilton, Gallatin, & Wayne Counties will start at Wabash Valley FS Services near McLeansboro.
