REGIONAL WEATHER ROUNDUP

(OLNEY/NEWTON) A frontal boundary in the Upper Midwest will pretty well stall out today through tonight, giving our downstate area more warm and humid tropical air for today & tomorrow, but an approaching cold front will slowly move into Illinois by tomorrow night, bringing us some rain chances Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday night. As the cold front pushes through our downstate area, the wind switch from the northwest will give us some cooler air, but we’re back to more heat and humidity by Friday and for the upcoming weekend.
