(NEWTON) A reminder that the City of Newton is currently accepting applications to hire a new Officer for the Newton Police Department. In fact, successful lateral candidates may be eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $10,000. Successful entry level candidates may qualify for a bonus after completion of basic training. The application deadline is at 4:00pm on Monday, September 15th, 2025. Applications can be picked up at the NPD during normal business hours.
