(OLNEY/NEWTON) With an approaching cold front moving towards the Midwest, our downstate area is expected to stay dry on this last Friday in June 2024, although there will be plenty of clouds mixed in with some sunshine and a slight chance of some afternoon rain while most of the wet stuff will stay far to our north. It’s pretty much the same story for tomorrow, although our chances of rain increase as we move through the day on Saturday, and after a secondary cold front moves through Illinois by Saturday night, some cooler air and lower humidity levels move in for Sunday’s weather, continuing into the new month of July on Monday.
