IECC BRINGS BACK ‘WALK-IN WEDNESDAYS’ THIS JULY 2025

(OLNEY/NEWTON) The Illinois Eastern Community Colleges will once again open its doors for Walk-In Wednesdays this July, offering prospective and current students a convenient way to get ready for the fall semester without the need for appointments. Available the first four Wednesdays next month, July 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd, from 9:00 to 3:00 each day, at all four IECC campuses, Frontier in Fairfield, Wabash Valley in Mt. Carmel, Lincoln Trail near Robinson, & OCC in Olney, the Walk-In events are designed to streamline the enrollment process by providing one-stop access to key student services, including advising, financial aid assistance, class registration, & placement testing, plus staff will be on hand to answer questions and help students through each step. In addition, each campus will offer free snacks & small giveaways to attendees, and to make the most of their visit, students are encouraged to bring their high school or college transcripts, a driver’s license or state ID, their Social Security number or card, and a completed FAFSA.
