The IHSA Class 3A and 4A State Softball Tournaments concluded over the weekend in Peoria.
Class 3A Championship Game
- Chatham Glenwood edged out New Lenox Providence Catholic in extra innings, 3-2 in eight innings, to claim the state title.
Class 3A Third Place Game
- Crystal Lake Prairie Ridge shut out Burbank St. Laurence, 12-0, to take third place.
Class 4A Championship Game
- Oswego defeated Barrington, 4-1, to win the Class 4A championship.
Class 4A Third Place Game
- Oak Park-River Forest held off Lockport, 6-5, to secure third place.
