SHELBYVILLE – The IHSA State Bass Fishing Tournament casts off this Friday and Saturday (June 6–7) on Lake Shelbyville, featuring 60 qualifying boats and up to 120 high school anglers from across Illinois.
Tournament Details:
- A virtual safety meeting was held Monday morning.
- Today includes safety checks and pre-fishing practice.
- Competition launches early Friday and Saturday, with teams divided into three flights and staggered weigh-in times.
- An awards ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
