Newton got back in the win column on the road in Greenup
- The Eagles beat Cumberland, 11-6 as they outhit the host Pirates, 9 to 7
- Winning pitcher was Drake Wolf, striking out 3 in the final 4 innings of work
- Wolf led the Eagles at the plate with a double, 2 singles, 3 RBI, and 1 run scored
- Max Meinhart had 2 hits and 2 RBI, while Isaac Flowers had a 2 RBI hit
- David Ferguson had 2 hits and 3 runs scored
The 7-7 Eagles are scheduled to host North Clay/Clay City tomorrow
