MONDAY WEATHER DISCUSSION (06/10/2024)

(OLNEY/NEWTON) As a strong high pressure ridge moves across Illinois today and through the day tomorrow, we’ll have plenty of sunshine and dry weather conditions over the next 48 hours. But as that high pressure drops to our southeast, into the southern states, that will allow warmer and more humid air to move into our downstate area, and combined with more sunshine, we’ll have our hottest weather of the year so far starting Wednesday and continuing through the upcoming weekend. At this point in time, there is no rain in our seven day forecast. Monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather details.
