In the Class 2A Regional Championship last night, the Newton Lady Eagles triumphed over Fairfield with scores of 25-18 and 25-14. With this victory, Newton improves to 31-6 on the season and advances to the Class 2A Sectional at Fairfield. They’ll face Pinckneyville in the Semi-Final next Tuesday night at 6:00 PM.
