The Olney Tigers baseball team rolled past Flora with a commanding 14-4 win in seven innings Thursday. The Tigers outhit the host Wolves, 11 to 4.
Brody Redman picked up the win on the mound, striking out six over six solid innings.
Olney’s offense was led by Cooper Hires, who delivered a double, two singles, 5 RBI, and scored twice. Gavin Root added power with a home run, a single, and a walk, driving in 4 runs and crossing the plate twice himself. Carter Blank chipped in with two hits and scored three times, while Matt Wenger added an RBI hit and Mattie Sanders doubled.
The win improves Olney to 6-8 on the season. The Tigers are back in action today as they travel to Lawrenceville.
