(OLNEY) Richland County Farm Bureau members are invited to an informational meeting this coming Thursday evening in Olney to learn about the legal issues that landowners should consider before entering into a solar and/or wind farm lease agreement on their property. Two Illinois Farm Bureau experts will be on hand to share important details about renewable energy leases and what landowners should know before they sign any type of agreement. Starting at 6:00, the meeting will be held at the Richland County High School Performing Arts Center, and while RSVP’s are not required, those countywide Farm Bureau members who’d like to attend are asked to call the Farm Bureau Office in Olney at 393-4116 or send an email to Manager Kenzie Stewart at richlandcountyfbmanager@gmail.com as soon as possible. Richland County memberships will be checked at the door on Thursday.
