THIS WEEK’S RICHLAND COUNTY FARM BUREAU RAINFALL REPORT

(OLNEY) In this week’s Richland County Farm Bureau rainfall report for the past week, with the reporting period ending at 8:00 yesterday (Monday) morning, the county’s highest total of rain was three inches even (3.00) at the Farm Bureau Office in Olney and in Decker Township, followed by two inches & nine tenths (2.90) in German and Preston Townships, and then two inches & seven tenths (2.70) in both Noble and Madison Townships. One of the Claremont Township sites had two and a half inches (2.50), Denver Township had two inches & four tenths (2.40), Olney Township had two inches & five hundredths (2.05), Bonpas Township had two inches even (2.00), and the county’s lowest amount of rain over the past week was an inch & nine tenths (1.90) in the other Claremont Township location. Here at our WVLN-WSEI National Weather Service official weather station for Richland County, at the south edge of Olney, we recorded nearly two inches & four tenths (2.37).
