(OLNEY/NEWTON) With the cold front turned warm front now draped over central Illinois, low-level moisture remains trapped beneath the cloud cover, therefore our downstate area forecast is calling for some patchy drizzle or light rain on this Thursday. Then as that warm front begins to move southward tomorrow, we’ll have more on-and-0ff again rain chances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Next week’s weather will start out dry on Monday with yet more rain chances that night through Tuesday, all followed by dry and colder air returning to finish up 2024 and welcome in 2025. Stay tuned for continued weather updates & always monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for more weather information and forecast details.
