USA HIGH SCHOOL CLAY TARGET LEAGUE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WINNERS AND FINALISTS

(MICHIGAN) The 2024 USA High School Clay Target League National Championship has wrapped up in Mason, Michigan with over 1,800 registered shooters taking part.

BOYS INDIVIDUAL SHOOTING –

  • While in 197th place going into the final round of competition, Brody Lenington, from Cedar Vale-Dexter High School in Kansas, came back to win a shoot-off with 14 other athletes, claiming the Boys National Champion Title

GIRLS INDIVIDUAL SHOOTING –

  • An Illinois girl, Madelyn Coats, from Franklin-Waverly High School, was the Female National Champion, after going into the finals ranked 36th

TEAM SHOOTING –

  • Out of the 260 high school teams in the competition, Yamhill-Carlton High School from Oregon won the National Team Title

TOP TEN INDIVIDUAL SHOOTING –

  • There was one area athlete that finished in the Top Ten of clay target shooting at the National Tournament, that was Hank Sipe, from Dieterich High School

TOP FIVE TEAM SHOOTING –

  • Finishing in the Top Five in the team competition was Illinois’ Mt. Pulaski High School
