(OLNEY/NEWTON) Our downstate weather will begin to warm up today with a southerly wind flow and a gusty south wind, although a weak cold front will drop some light snow far to our north along the I-72 corridor. Here in southeastern Illinois, we’re expected to return to near normal temperatures for the weekend and into the first of next week. As of right now, the National Weather Service has removed the weekend chance of rain from the forcast. Listen for updates and monitor a NOAA Weather Alert Radio for forecast details.
