‘WHAT’S HAPPENING’ THIS WEEKEND

Mt. Erie
The Annual Farm Consignment Auction, hosted by the Mt. Erie Ruritan Club, will be held this Monday, January 20th, starting at 9:00 AM. With two auction rings, a wide range of items will be available, including lawn & garden equipment, construction tools, vehicles, farm equipment, tractors, combines, and more. Ste. Marie
The Ste. Marie American Legion will be serving walking tacos this Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Dine in or carry out—everyone is welcome to enjoy this tasty meal.

Olney
This Sunday afternoon at the Olney VFW, the Queen of Hearts drawing will take place at 4:00 PM, with tickets available until 3:55 PM. This week’s jackpot is expected to be over $2,400, and the winner must be present. The event is open to the public, and you’re invited to join the fun!

Ingraham
The Ingraham Community Building will host a fish fry this Saturday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Donations are accepted at the door. All proceeds benefit the Ingraham Station of the Clay City Fire Protection District, supporting their efforts to purchase and improve firefighting equipment.

Olney
The Blanket Brigade and Olney Quilt Guild are hosting a sewing day this Saturday, January 18th, at the Nazarene Church on North Walnut Street in Olney, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Several projects will be available, including some that don’t require a sewing machine, so feel free to bring your needle and thread. Lunch will be decided by attendees and ordered in. Olney
The Olney FFA Alumni will be holding their Pancake & Sausage Breakfast this Saturday morning from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Commons Area at Richland County High School. The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, biscuits & gravy, and beverages. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Credit cards are accepted. Proceeds benefit the Olney FFA and scholarships.

Newton
This Friday evening at 6:30 PM, the Queen of Hearts drawing will take place at the American Legion Post 20 in Newton. The jackpot is currently at $29,300. The Queen’s Menu includes reuben sandwiches, reuben dogs, or hot dogs, each with a side and choice of toppings for $10. Serving starts at 5:00 PM. Dine in or carry out.
